Matthew Arnold collection
The Matthew Arnold Collection is a mixed-provenance collection of material by and related to Matthew Arnold, including family, personal and professional correspondence; diaries by Mary Penrose Arnold; letters from Frances Lucy Arnold to Arthur Galton; and a small quanitity of personal papers and manuscript items. Correspondents include Arthur Hugh Clough, James Thomas Knowles and George Smith.
John L. De Forest / Sholem Asch collection
Collection consists of correspondence addressed to Asch, many letters carrying dictated drafts of his response on them. There are four typescripts of essays by Sholem Asch as well as five scripts for a Christmas pageant performed in Stamford, Conn., in 1943. Also present is De Forest's typescript memoir entitled, "My Hours with Sholem Asch."

Lyman Hotchkiss Bagg papers
Correspondence, manuscripts, and other papers largely relating to Lyman Hotchkiss Bagg's interest in boating; his editorship of the Yale Literary Magazine, 1868-1869; and his weekly "College Chronicle" written for the New York World, 1876-1882. Also included are student translations from Latin and Greek, and correspondence and memorabilia from his years at Yale College, 1865-1869.

George Barker collection
The collection consists of poetry and prose by George Barker in autograph, typescript, and printed forms, including poems with autograph revisions by T. S. Eliot. Also present are a small group of letters to Barker from editors and colleagues including Brian Higgins and Oscar Williams, six line drawings by Barker, and a collection of ten typescripts of poems by William Bell.
