Circa 800 autograph letters, mostly signed, addressed to Elias Loomis, 1828-1889. Letters pertain chiefly to Loomis's teaching and research in astronomy and meteorology. Correspondents are primarily scientists and other scholars.
Joseph Head Marshall papers

Henri Peyre letters
Consists of letters to Peyre chiefly from French authors, plus one letter from Peyre to Donald Wing enclosing a typescript of Paul Claudel's "Partage de midi," which Peyre had made from the play at the Bibliotheque Nationale.
