Asa Blair papers
Pastor, Congregational Church, Kent, Connecticut. Chiefly letters to his wife during a trip to the South (1822) in which he describes Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, D. C. and Mount Vernon. A letter of Dec 2, 1822, describes the use of opium during his illness. Also in the collection are the correspondence of his wife Mira A. Blair and miscellaneous legal documents.
Lester Bradner papers
The papers consist of approximately 500 letters written by Lester Bradner to his future wife Edith Mitchell Murray of Flushing, New York. During their courtship Bradner spent two years (1891-1893) studying at the University of Berlin, after taking a Ph.D. at Yale University in 1889. His letters describe his life both in New York and Berlin, as well as his summer travels in Europe and the United States. He also discusses his religious beliefs and the ministry.

Colton Family Papers
Correspondence, writings, sermons, diaries, account books, poems, and notes of George Colton of West Hartford, Connecticut and four of his sons. The principal figure in the papers is Henry Martyn Colton, who graduated from Yale College in 1848 and established schools in Middletown, Connecticut and New York City. Included in his papers are college lecture notes, sermons together with outlines and notes, poems, diaries, and travel writings.

Daggett family papers
The papers include correspondence, sermons, and legal and financial papers of Alfred, Ebenezeer, Henry (1741-1830), Henry (1758-1843), Horace, Naphtali, and William Daggett. Naphtali Daggett was president of Yale College from 1766 to 1777. Deeds (quit claims) of William Daggett form the bulk of the collection.
Oliver Ellsworth Daggett Papers
Record books, sermons, writings, and notes document Daggett's ministry and his education and teaching at Yale. Oliver Ellsworth Daggett (1810-1880) served as a Congregational clergyman in Connecticut and New York from 1837 to 1877. He was Chittenden Professor of Divinity and college pastor at Yale from 1867 to 1870.

Five manuscript volumes in the handwriting of various persons, one of whom was James McLaren Breed Dwight. Included are 3 volumes of Edwards Amasa Park's lectures on theology, 1 volume of William G. T. Shedd's lectures on church history and 1 volume on Woolsey and Hillhouse family genealogy.
Samuel Witt Eaton papers
The Samuel Witt Eaton Papers consist largely of correspondence from classmates at Yale College, among them Timothy Dwight, James Hadley, and John A. Porter. The letters discuss theology and the ministry as well as life at Yale College. Also in the papers are materials relating to the Civil War, during which Eaton served as chaplain. Included is his "Some sketches from a three year experience in the army."
