Overview: Dryden P. Morse was a heart surgeon who practiced in Philadelphia and then at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey. A pioneer in the use of pacemakers, he was an expert on the technology of pacemakers and invented several improvements. The collection contains a small amount of correspondence, published articles and unpublished manuscripts, and information on his inventions and his interactions with pacemaker companies.
