Abstract: The papers consist of correspondence, topical files, and writings which document Wolfers's academic and administrative career in economics and international relations. Wolfers destroyed his files in 1949, upon retiring as Master of Pierson College, in 1957, when he became professor emeritus at Yale, and again in 1966 when he retired from the Center for Political Research.
