The records consist of correspondence, blueprints and tables, clippings, and publications maintained by John V. Farwell as chairman of the Committee on the Architectural Plan.
Charitable society for the education of indigent pious young men for the ministry of the Gospel records
The records include a copy of a constitution, minutes of annual meetings, financial accounts, and correspondence. These papers are also known as the Connecticut Education Society Records.
Connecticut Training School for Nurses records and memorabilia
The records consist of policy and financial records, reports, correspondence, student records and notebooks, photographs, and alumnae records documenting the operations of the Connecticut Training School for Nurses. Topics include curriculum, administration, organization, social work, legal issues, funding, personnel, and social events. Included are two historical sketches of the school by Francis Bacon, a key personality in its founding, and Henry W. Farnum, its president.

The papers consist primarily of student research papers, photocopies of public records, and reports on historic homes of Connecticut. Files on seventeenth century domestic architecture and on one home in Massachusettes are also included. Many of the papers and reports were completed by students in Cummings's architecture history classes at Yale University, but several reports were written by Cummings.

The personal lives, academic activities, and professional careers of several family members are documented, including Reverend Jeremiah Day (1737-1806), Reverend Jeremiah Day (1773-1867), Henry Noble Day (1808-1890), Mills Day (1783-1812), and others.

Early Yale documents collection
Correspondence, minutes, financial records, charters and official acts, inventories of books and other property, and other papers documenting the founding and early history of Yale College. Documents include the original charter of the Collegiate School; letters by and to the first trustees of the school; and the 1718 inventory of books donated to the school by Elihu Yale.
