Overview: Private journals, ledgers and scrapbooks kept by William H. Potter of Groton, Conn. and Brandon, Mississippi (1851-1955). The journals contain descriptions of his activities and discourses on religion and politics. Lemuel Swift Punderson papers

Overview: Contents of two scrapbooks kept by Punderson containing samples of his drawings and engravings, photographs, trade and calling cards, and a large collection of engravings by others as well as newspaper and magazine clippings, chiefly portraits of notable persons. A large part of Punderson's work includes engravings of members of the Yale College faculty, views of the college building, seals of various societies, and views of Connecticut.

Douglas W. Rae papers

Overview: The Douglas W. Rae papers consist of interviews of members of the Howard family conducted from 1988 and 1989. The interviews document the social and economic experiences of an extended African American family in New Haven from the 1950s to the 1980s. The papers also include account books from Rae's tenure as chief administrative officer of the city of New Haven, Connecticut, from 1990 to 1991 which contain notes, reports, meeting minutes and daily memoranda.

The papers document his extensive land transactions, largely in Branford, but also involving property in Milford, Stratford, New London, Killingworth, New Haven and Waterbury. Edward Roth medical school notes and medical practice case books

Overview: Edward Roth was a graduate of Bellevue Hospital Medical College in New York city in 1880 after the required attendance of two years. The collection consists of ten volumes, the first five of which are Roth's notes on medical school lectures and clinics from 1878-1880. The remaining five include four volumes documenting his clinical practice in New Haven, 1891-1893, and one volume with a few entries on practice in Massachusetts in late 1893.
