Peter Ackroyd papers
The Peter Ackroyd papers primarily contain research files, manuscripts, drafts, and page proofs for many of Ackroyd's novels, biographies, and historical studies, as well as related correspondence and screenplays. Also present are his appointment books, some personal papers and photographs, and personal papers of his partner Brian Michael Kuhn (1952-1994).

George Barker collection
The collection consists of poetry and prose by George Barker in autograph, typescript, and printed forms, including poems with autograph revisions by T. S. Eliot. Also present are a small group of letters to Barker from editors and colleagues including Brian Higgins and Oscar Williams, six line drawings by Barker, and a collection of ten typescripts of poems by William Bell.

Gilbert Cannan papers
The collection primarily consists of writings by Gilbert Cannan, containing autograph manuscripts of his novels, plays, poetry, and short stories, with some examples of his non-fiction writing, including the manuscript of his work Samuel Butler: a Critical Study. Series I holds the literary manuscripts, while Series II holds a law examination certificate and two photographs of Black Lake Cottage, in Farnham, Surrey, where Cannan lived for a time.

Dudley Fitts papers
The Dudley Fitts Papers consists chiefly of writings and correspondence relating to the production of the first American edition of An Anthology of Contemporary Latin-American Poetry (New Directions, 1942).
Michael Fraenkel papers
The collection consists of writings, correspondence, personal papers, and printed material, documenting the work of avant-garde writer and publisher Michael Fraenkel and his publishing company Carrefour Press, as well as the work of his wife Daphne Fraenkel who continued as director of the publishing company after Fraenkel's death and their literary executor Michael Peter Harris.

Alyse Gregory papers
The collection consists chiefly of correspondence, with smaller amounts of diaries, writings, notebooks, artworks, photographs, and other personal papers. Also present are papers of others closely associated with Gregory, including papers of Llewelyn Powys; writings of John Cowper Powys and Edna St. Vincent Millay; and diaries of Gertrude Powys. Accompanying these is a small amount of correspondence and notes of Rosemary Manning, concerning Gregory's papers.

Andrew Lang collection
The collection contains autograph letters, signed, written by Andrew Lang to acquaintances and colleagues, a photograph of Lang, and a small group of autograph manuscripts.
D. H. Lawrence collection
The collection consists of correspondence, writings, agreements and contracts, photographs and artwork. The material documents Lawrence's writing career, his relationships with friends and publishers, and his travels in New Mexico, Mexico and Europe. Included is correspondence between his wife, Frieda Lawrence, and their mutual friends, and records relating to the rights to D. H. Lawrence's works after his death.
Robin McDouall correspondence
The collection consists of letters received by McDouall from his friends Harold Acton, Patrick Leigh Fermor, Evie Hone, John Sparrow, Cecil Woodham Smith, and others. They are personal in nature and include many invitations and thank-you notes. Also present is one photograph of two unidentified men.
