The collection is comprised of photographs of Yale and Andover, Massachusettes, and their surrounding areas. Included are photographs of the White Mountains. The photographs were collected by Hollon A. Farr (Yale 1896).
Photographic portraits of Native American poets and writers created by Christopher Felver for his book, Tending the Fire: Native Voices and Portraits (University of New Mexico Press, 2017). The collection includes ninety-seven photographs that appear in the work as well as twenty portraits not published in it.
Collection of mounted black and white photographs of European and American film stills, the majority from the early 20th century. Some material may overlap with or duplicate items in the VRC 35 mm slide collection. The majority of the material acquired from the Museum of Modern Art as part of their circulating film program.
