This collection contains numerous bookplates commissioned by various members of the Diamond Family. J. Edouard “Jack” Diamond and Elizabeth Watson Diamond were avid bookplate collectors and the proprietors of Hyacinth Press, a small private press which they operated from their home in Cleveland, OH.

The collection consists of early American bookplates commissioned by both individuals and institutions, as well as correspondence and ephemeral materials related to the collection.

The collection consists of bookplates by Japanese artists, for Japanese patrons, or both. Individual and institutional patrons are represented.

The collection contains bookplates and other documentation related to the personal ex-libris designs of Irene Dwen Andrews Pace (1892-1962).

The collection contains examples of bookplates from various academic institutions. The collection also contains correspondence, related factual information cut out from catalogs or journals, and some handwritten notes by the collector.

The collection contains just over 50 letters, typed and handwritten, between Carlyle S. Baer, secretary of the American Society of Bookplate Collectors and Designers, and Dr. Samuel X. Radbill, a bookplate collector.

The collection contains bookplates by Jan Battermann, a Dutch graphic artist and painter.

The collection comprises mostly 18th- and 19th-century bookplates from a variety of British institutions, including libraries, social organizations, military organizations, schools and colleges as well as businesses.

This is a collection of mostly 18th- and 19th-century armorial bookplates from territories formerly known as the British West Indies or from individuals who were associated with those territories. Most of the bookplates belonged to private individuals, although the collection does contain a few institutional bookplates from various library, university, or social organizations.

This collection comprises mostly 19th- and early 20th-century Canadian bookplates.

The collection consists of both private and institutional bookplates from Denmark, bookplates by Danish artists, and ephemeral materials related to the collection.
