The collection contains approximately 900 photographic prints, relief halftones, postcards, negatives, tintypes, and pen-and-ink drawings depicting the Colorado River region and other areas of the West. The early photographs are by E. O. Beaman, James Fennemore, John K. Hillers, photographers on the 1871 Powell expedition.
