The collection consists of black-and-white and color photographic prints, contact sheets, negatives, slides, indices and other papers, audiovisual media, and digital files related to the work of Canadian-American photographer Dorothy Alexander. Photographic materials encompass her professional freelance work and personal creative endeavors, particularly street photography.
The papers consist of photographs, correspondence, diaries, financial papers, and printed materials documenting Robert Giard's career as a photographer and personal life, spanning the years 1972 to 2002. The bulk of the papers contain photographic prints by Giard in several sizes of various subjects, including portraits of gay and lesbian writers, landscapes, nudes, still lifes, and portraits of the Thanks Be To Grandmother Winifred Foundation grant recipients.
The collection consists of photographs taken by Roberta Price of communes in the southwestern United States from 1969 to 1977, including black and white and color prints, negatives, and transparencies. The collection also includes drafts, correspondence, and printed material relating to Huerfano: A Memoir of Life in the Counterculture; additional photographs; interviews and other born digital audiovisual materials; and other papers.
