Anti-abortion movement ephemera
The collection includes fliers, pamphlets, postcards, and objects produced by a variety of organizations working to make abortion illegal in the United States. Items were collected by Megann Licskai, most were distributed at "Vita et Veritas" conferences held on the Yale University campus in 2017 and 2018. Objects include fetus dolls, a pin, and a rubber bracelet.
Birth control and women's health ephemera
The collection contains material circa 1930-2010 related to birth control and women's health. Materials include pamphlets produced by manufacturers and vendors of contraceptive products circa 1930-1967; a 1948 fertility calculator; and materials related to safe sex campaigns, abortion rights activism, abstinence-only sex education, and the morning after pill (mifepristone) circa 1989-2010.
