Connecticut Public Health Association records
The records document the history of the Connecticut Public Health Association (1974) and its predecessors. Most materials date from 1946-1993 and consist of correspondence, minutes, bylaws, constitutions, newsletters, officers' reports, and memoranda relating to the business of the organizations. These papers form part of the Contemporary Medical Care and Health Policy Collection.
John Vance Lauderdale papers
The papers include correspondence, journal entries, photographs, sketches, and printed ephemera that document the life and military career of John Vance Lauderdale. Originally bound in thirteen indexed scrapbooks. Subjects discussed include family life, military life, treatment of Indians and blacks, and the practice of medicine. Two boxes of lantern slides accompany papers.
