The papers relate primarily to the routine details of Army life in Florida and the Southeastern U.S. from 1818-1825. Correspondents include John C. Calhoun, Richard K. Call, Henry Dearborn, and James Wilkinson. There is also a small amount of material relating to the Sands and Beekman families.
