Overview: The papers consist of four albums of photographs and autographs documenting Elizabeth Hudson's service as a nurse in American Military Hospital #1 in Paris during World War I. The albums contain pictures of French, Moroccan, and American wounded soldiers with written identifications by Hudson and comments by her patients. There are also scenes of battlefields, hospital staff, and of the victory parade in Paris in 1919.
